Casa Astrid is situated directly on the ocean on a quiet dirt road surrounded by gorgeous tropical flora and fauna. Monkeys and parrots are regularly seen on the property. The property is full of tropical trees and plants which provide shade throughout the yard, not to mention numerous hammock and bird watching sites. The house opens up completely to make the most of the ocean breeze. The kitchen and living room are in a single open space on two levels. The polished concrete floor and excellent ventilation help keep the house a comfortable temperature at all times. There is a coffee table, kitchen bar and outdoor dining table, all locally made from tropical hardwoods. The kitchen is equipped with a coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, gas cooktop and oven, basic cookware and plates, glasses and utensils for eight. There is a single bathroom with a hot water shower, and two bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen sized bed and the other had a double/single bunk bed. The house has a phone as well as wireless Internet access and a safe and a locking cabinet, should you choose to bring your laptop or mobile device.
